Award-winning hearing research article by Daniel Hölle
A magazine featuring the winning texts has been published on the occasion of the award ceremony for the KlarText Prize for Science Communication 2024. Dr Daniel Hölle received the KlarText Prize in the field of neuroscience for his article Können Sie das bitte abstellen? (‘Can you please turn that off?’), in which he vividly explains his research in the field of individual noise processing. During his PhD at the University of Oldenburg, Hölle conducted research at the Department of Psychology and in the Cluster of Excellence Hearing4all.
The KlarText Prize for Science Communication is awarded annually by the Klaus Tschira Foundation. Scientists who have completed their PhD in one of seven natural science disciplines in the previous two years are eligible to apply. The award recognises articles or infographics that present the research topic in a clear and understandable way.
