3. Advanced Algorithms for Hearing Devices

Advanced Algorithms for Hearing Devices

The overall objective of this project is to develop and evaluate advanced signal processing algorithms for hearing aids and cochlea implants. The work program comprises machine-learning-based algorithms for computational acoustic scene analysis (CASA) and speech enhancement, EEG-based auditory attention decoding, and sound coding algorithms for implantable hearing devices. The target is to develop a real-time demonstrator of the developed algorithms and a closed-loop BCI system for hearing devices.
