Hearing4all International Symposium 2024 – impressions
Hearing research experts gathered at the Medical Park Hannover from 7 to 8 November 2024 as part of the annual symposium of the Cluster of Excellence Hearing4all.
Internationally renowned scientists contributed a wide range of ideas: Prof Torsten Dau (DTU Lyngby), Prof Dr Hubert Löwenheim (University Hospital Tübingen), Prof Danilo Mandić (Imperial College London), Prof Susan Nittrouer (University of Florida) Dr Yulia Oganian (University of Tübingen), Prof Dr Tanja Schultz (University of Bremen), Prof Cas Smits (Amsterdam UMC) and Prof Stefan Stenfelt (Linköping University).
Scientists from Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg, Hannover Medical School and Leibniz University Hannover as well as the cluster’s partner institutions presented the current state of research in the Cluster of Excellence Hearing4all.
‘Our annual symposium offers an excellent opportunity for cross-location and cross-disciplinary professional exchange. Current developments and challenges are presented and discussed, thus jointly advancing cutting-edge international research,’ says Prof. Prof. h.c. Dr Thomas Lenarz, Director of the ENT Clinic at Hannover Medical School and clinical spokesperson for the Cluster of Excellence.
