Transparent hearing system Hearpiece
The hearpiece is an electro-acoustic earpiece for the research and development of assistive listening devices and hearables. It contains two receivers and four microphones on each side, which are built into a universal fit. The earpiece fits in about 90% of all ears and fits similar to an individual earmold. In a vent, the two drivers and a microphone are positioned in separate positions inside the ear canal, which opens up many signal processing possibilities. The earpiece is available in a vented or closed version as well as with or without integrated microphone preamplifier.
