Auditory multilingual, self-guided tests with model-controlled interpretation

In this project the testing methods to be employed in the Virtual Hearing Clinic will be developed. They are based on psychophysics, speech perception, and outcome tests of aided performance and will take into account the restrictions of mobile devices with respect to user interface and acoustic and visual presentation as well as any interface to electric hearing devices.

IT-based diagnostics and rehabilitation and the envisaged Virtual Hearing Clinic relies on both basic and applied research work on psychoacoustical, audiological, and speech perception tests that are directed towards use in mobile devices and in the clinic.
