On 4 and 5 November, the international Hearing4all Symposium will take place in Oldenburg. We are very pleased to be able to give you the opportunity to meet in person again this year.
The event will be held as a hybrid event – on-site at the Weser-Ems-Hallen in Oldenburg and online via a video conferencing system. We will present keynote lectures by renowned international scientists as well as highlight lectures by our own researchers, covering a wide range of topics related to hearing. There will also be poster sessions with our young researchers and an exciting evening event.
If you are interested in participating, please apply online via the following internet link by 15 October:

Please tick the appropriate box in our online registration form. A few days before the event you will receive an email with instructions on how to register.
Restricted on-site access to the event:
Currently, we are planning to hold the symposium as a hybrid event that can be attended both on-site and online. Following the COVID-19 regulation of the federal state of Lower Saxony, we plan to restrict access to our venue to vaccinated or recovered individuals. Prior registration on our online platform will be mandatory. This will allow us to admit more participants and create a much more relaxed atmosphere without having to wear face masks and maintain minimum distances during the event. Incidentally, participation will also be possible online via a video conferencing system.
Information for our international participants: Entry into Germany under the COVID-19 pandemic ordinance
The Ordinance on the Coronavirus Entry Ordinance (dated 28 September 2021) of the Federal Republic of Germany states that you must register online before travelling if you have been in a so-called “risk area” in the ten days prior to entry. You will be exempt from quarantine if you present a certificate of recovery from COVID-19 or a vaccination with a vaccine approved in the European Union. Without one of these certificates, a negative PCR test is required and you must be quarantined for ten days, with the possibility of shortening the quarantine to five days upon presentation of another negative PCR test.
Please note that regulations for travel and access to events may change at short notice during the COVID 19 pandemic.
Discounts for hotels:
Some hotels near the venue offer discounts for participants of the symposium. These offers expire on 15 October, so you should book your room in advance. See the information sheet attached to this mail.
